Brief description of dataset location | Harrop and Narrows creeks are located on the south side of the West Arm of Kootenay Lake east of the city of Nelson, B.C in the community of Harrop-Procter. The headwaters of the creeks are situated in the Nelson Range of the Selkirk Mountains and drain high gradient north-facing slopes reaching elevations of just over 2,300 m down to Kootenay Lake at 530 m. |
