Kootenay Lake (Station 2)

As part of Friends of Kootenay Lake’s commitment to the fish and wildlife habitat of Kootenay Lake, a three year water quality monitoring program was initiated. The near-shore program was conducted by trained volunteers all over Kootenay Lake, and monitoring water clarity and temperature of Kootenay Lake according to guidelines provided by the British Columbia Lake Stewardship Society’s (BCLSS) Lake Sampling Program (BCLSMP).
