Data collection infoThe temperature loggers were deployed at the same locations for several years. They were installed fastened to a cable that was wrapped around a boulder or tree adjacent to the river.
Data processingParameters with unacceptably high or low readings were removed. These readings were likely due to the logger being swept out of the water during freshet or major weather events. The Water Hub has performed a preliminary QA/QC protocol on this data but the individual user must still confirm the accuracy of the data and whether it will be appropriate for their purpose.

Resource locationSouth Salmo River Upper - follow path ~40m upstream from campsite before bridge on Lead Creek FSR to access SSR at bedrock. Logger is across SSR at pointy boulder. River left. South Salmo River Lower was downstream side of upstream Teck Habitat Structure at SSR site (river left). At MoTH gravel pit. Upstream of SSR bridge on Hwy #6.
