Moyie Lake Foreshore Integrated Management Planning Open 2020

This dataset contains the open access data and reports for the FIMP survey carried out in Moyie Lake in 2020. Moyie Lake, located in the Purcell Mountains in BC, is a unique “kettle pond” lake, the result of a depression created at the outflow of a glacier. The lake consists of 37.6 km of shoreline with a north and south basin connected by a ecologically productive narrows region in the middle. Moyie Lake is a recreation destination that has seen an increase in recreational property development in recent years.
