Phase I of the Shoreacres Aquifer Health Project project ran from 2020 to 2021, with an intent of educating residents of Shoreacres regarding aquifer health related issues, well best practices, and septic systems best practices.

| Data collection info | Well testing was implemented using scientifically recognized best practices to ensure the data will be usable by the broader community and researchers. Testing instructions from the Lab (Passmore Labs) were strictly adhered to. Representatives from SaNCA were present when tests were done and ensured consistency throughout the chain of custody for each sample. Privacy protocols were implemented to maintain a disclosed and consensual balance between data and individual/residential privacy. |
