Data collection infoWasa Lake data is collected using a HOBO data logger (surveyed at 766.35 masl), and Kootenay River data is currently measured manually using a gauge which was installed in 2019 (surveyed at 767.68 masl). Levels are currently recorded daily between May and September, and will be updated regularly during the monitoring season. Additional data for Wasa Lake 2007-2012 is available in chart form, daily values are not available.
Data processingPressure data for Wasa Lake is converted to water level using HOBO software. The Water Hub has performed a preliminary QA/QC protocol on this data but the individual user must still confirm the accuracy of the data and whether it will be appropriate for their purpose. The water hub template and structure, which includes coordinates, is used in this resource.
