This dataset contains hydrometric and water temperature data for Wolverton Creek hydrometric station. This site is part of the Living Lakes Canada Columbia Basin Water Monitoring Framework program (CBWMF). The CBWMF is a coordinated monitoring network that tracks how climate change and other impacts are affecting water supply for communities and ecosystems across the Canadian Columbia Basin region. Wolverton Creek is one of few creeks monitored on the west side of the Slocan Valley. Wolverton Creek is reported to be important summer habitat for fish, and a source of cold water for the Slocan River. The data is being collected to track climate change and other impacts on Columbia Basin water supply and to support community climate adaptation.
