Temperature and lake level data. Long-term monitoring of temperature and the lake level was established in 2022. The aim of long-term monitoring is to track changes in lake level and temperature in response to climate change and its impacts.

Brief description of dataset location
This data was collected at Sapphire Lake in Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park, B.C. The lake sits at 2263 masl and is situated in the Interior mountain-heather Alpine (IMA) biogeoclimatic zone. It is fed by precipitation and snow melt and marks the headwaters of Lemon Creek.
