McDonald Creek Hydrometric (MCKMCD01H)

This dataset contains hydrometric and water temperature data for McDonald Creek hydrometric station. This site is part of the Living Lakes Canada Columbia Basin Water Monitoring Framework program (CBWMF). The CBWMF is a coordinated monitoring network that tracks how climate change and other impacts are affecting water supply for communities and ecosystems across the Canadian Columbia Basin region. McDonald Creek was selected for monitoring because it is an important stream for fish. There are few active stations in the Lower Arrow Lakes valley, so this monitoring supports improved geographic coverage of the network. The data is being collected to track climate change and other impacts on Columbia Basin water supply and to support community climate adaptation.
