This dataset contains hydrometric and water temperature data for Upper Wilson Creek hydrometric station. This site is part of the Living Lakes Canada Columbia Basin Water Monitoring Framework program (CBWMF). The CBWMF is a coordinated monitoring network that tracks how climate change and other impacts are affecting water supply for communities and ecosystems across the Canadian Columbia Basin region. Upper Wilson Creek is being monitored as it is an important tributary to Slocan Lake and was identified by the community as a priority. This watershed is glacially fed in its upper reaches. The data is being collected to track climate change and other impacts on Columbia Basin water supply and to support community climate adaptation.
