Dewitt Spring

Dewitt Spring emerges on the uphill side of private land in upper Argenta, and flows through a culvert within about 5 metres. This is one of the main springs which feed Carter creek below. A flume was built which could be slid quickly under the culvert discharge, and the flow directed into a barrel holding 208 Litres to the brim. All readings are the number of seconds to fill the barrel.
