Data collection infoData are collected using seven hydrometric stations, two snow courses and three meteorological climate stations installed at various locations around the north end of Kootenay Lake. The hydrometric program includes continuous monitoring of water quantity at seven hydrometric stations. The snow and climate program includes monitoring of snow accumulation at two high-elevation snow courses and air temperature and rainfall at three climate stations.
