Trout Lake at Denver St

The Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society (CSISS) collects plankton samples for several waterbodies in the Northern Columbia Basin which are tested for the presence of larval stages of invasive mussels and clams. Along with the plankton samples, ancillary data including surface pH, surface temperature and Secchi depth are measured. Data is collected from July to October, either every 2 weeks or every month (depending on the waterbody’s risk of infestation).
